Erin Frances Fisher – Writing
BFA Writing/Fiction, University of Victoria. Erin Fisher is (once again) heading Back to School and working toward a MFA. She won the Cadboro Bay Book Prize for Fiction in 2009. Her stories have been shortlisted in The Malahat Review’s 2010 Open Season Award in Fiction, The Malahat Review’s 2011 Far Horizons Award, won PRISM International’s 2011 Fiction Competition and The Malahat Review’s 2012 Open Season Competition. Her works have been published in PRISM international and Granta, and are forthcoming in The Malahat Review.

Awards include Murray Adaskin Composition Award, Katrina Scholarship Award, Robin & Winifred Wood International Piano Scholarship, VCM Teacher Training Award, VCM Composition Award and others.
Erin teaches individual piano lessons at the Victoria Conservatory of Music.
